Themaincharactersstrikemeasreal,andquitecomplex.Julienisatypicaladolescent/youngadult:Idealistic,searchingandunsureofhimself.Tome,itisamazingtowhathowtheworldinteractswithandaltershisself-image.Mathildeisequallyinteresting.Sheremindsmeofaflightyalternativegirl,lookingforadreamofsimmeringromance.AndMMEdeRenalisawonderful,believablewoman,fallinginlovelateinlife,victimofthemissinghusbandsyndrome.
